You’re Invited to Reimagine Aging at the High Museum of Art

Every May, we celebrate Older Americans Month (OAM), and this year, the theme is “Connect. Create. Contribute.” Personally, I love a good theme, whether it’s for a party, meal, gift, or event, so I’m especially excited to participate in the Reimagine Aging Civic Conversation at the High Museum of Art this OAM, which happens to be very on point. I hope you will join me to:

  • Connect with others from around the metro Atlanta region
  • Create reimagined opinions and ways to talk and feel about aging
  • Contribute your ideas to the conversation about how people of all ages can lead high quality lives throughout their lifetimes in our region.

This will be a great opportunity to have a meaningful conversation about a very important topic and also to explore the High Museum! All ages are welcome, and everyone who signs up and takes part gets free admission and a docent-guided tour. The High is also providing free refreshments and treats for conversation attendees.BUT space is limited and available on a first-come-first-served basis, so be sure to sign up now to attend this Reimagine Aging Civic Conversation at the High Museum using the Civic Dinners platform. The event is from 2:00 to 4:00 pm on Tuesday, May 7, 2019.

You can also help spread the word by sharing the Civic Dinners link  https://civicdinners.com/ARC-aging/dinners/1202 with your community or by sharing this event on Facebook. I look forward to seeing you there!
