Overview

Please join the Georgia Gerontology Society for this informative webinar about helping
people stay in their homes as they age. Universal design is building new or remodeling
existing spaces to accommodate the broadest possible range of human performance,
regardless of age or ability. Speakers will present information to consider when designing
and building new homes and design features to implement in existing homes.

Presenters: Scott Fulton, Engineer (St. Lawrence College), Chair of the National Aging in Place Council. Scott is a longevity authority and proactive aging educator. Scott teaches longevity and Aging in Place at the University of Delaware, Osher. He Chairs the National Aging in Place Council, is a member of the American College of Lifestyle Medicine, National Health Association, and True Health Initiative council

Dustin Abram, Co-founder, Co-Owner, and Chief Business Officer of Enabled Living. He received his Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from Brenau University in 2018. His undergraduate degree is in the area of psychology. He is a Certified Aging-in-Place Specialist (CAPS) focusing on Universal Design and User Experience Design. In his current role, Dustin evaluates and consults with individuals, businesses, and organizations on inclusive design and environmental modifications to promote successful aging in place for all.
