This 6 week small-group interactive workshop will help those with type 2 diabetes learn strategies to manage diabetic symptoms such as fatigue, stress, and difficult emotions. Participants will learn to set realistic goals and create action plans, improve diet and exercise, and communicate more effectively with family, friends and health professionals. By the end of the workshop, participants will have increased confidence in managing their health and staying active and engaged in their lives.
