Overview

Take an in-depth look at disaster preparedness recommendations for older adults and people with disabilities and discover how Georgia’s aging network responds to regional emergencies. Join us as we welcome presenter Jennifer Hogan, Disaster Preparedness Coordinator for the Georgia Department of Human Services Division of Aging Services.

When disasters strike, Hogan collaborates with Emergency Management officials and Georgia’s 12 Area Agencies on Aging to ensure that older adults are safe and have access to needed food, supplies, shelter, and healthcare. You won’t want to miss this special insider’s view of disaster preparedness in Georgia. This presentation is open to all.
