Join Arin Yost, Lead For America fellow and researcher for the Atlanta Regional Commission’s Live Beyond Expectations Regional Strategic Plan, for a discussion on closing the Health Equity Gap. Learn about increasing accessibility within metro Atlanta, specifically to increase the independence and wellbeing of our older population.
Mx. Arin Yost (they/them/theirs) is a fellow at the Atlanta Regional Commission working with the Live Beyond Expectations team to identify and address disparities life expectancy throughout the Atlanta Region. Originally from Houston, Texas, Arin moved to Atlanta in 2018 to attend school and has lived in North Georgia ever since. They are a recent graduate, having studied International Relations, Economics, and Gender & Sexuality Studies in undergrad, and are currently enrolled in the Geography MA program at Georgia State University. At the ARC, Arin uses the skills they’ve developed in their coursework to develop actionable, place-based strategies that will have a material impact on other’s lives. In their free time, Arin enjoys gardening, creating zines, and spoiling their pet tortoise, Michel.
